How much a role does Google now play in our lives? Has your memory power declined over the last 10 years or so?, well your memory loss might not be all down to aging alone. Debate has risen that it might be due to the way Google has restructured how our brains receive and archive knowledge.
The question really is, why bother finding out and storing large amounts of knowledge in our brains when we can instead remember a single search query in order to get the same information at a later date?
This completely new way in how we learn and store information will undoubtedly allow us to be more efficient in our consumption of information, but what will happen to society when we become overly reliant on Google to do the job our brains have always done very well for us in the past?
